2. Instagram Sponsored Post

Initially a radio jingle, the ad was felt to be not relatable to our target audience as the content pokes fun at the minah a nd mat rempit culture. However, with our campaign advisor, Ms.Leila suggested to repurpose the jingle into a different media vehicle. Recently, Maxis carried out several TV ads using stock footages and adding in voice overs not related to the footage, but funny. Taking inspiration from that, we made an ad that showed a conversation between a mat rempit and minah rempit , but using footages from the movie Matrix (the conversation between Neo and Trinity). The contrasting juxtaposition (the sophistication of Matrix and sheer crassness of the rempit culture) made for some really hilarious, funny and memorable content. We realized that the video will capture the attention of many, particularly Malaysians who understand both the Matrix and rempit culture references. The video ends with a call to action to our exhibition, Sini Sana Seni. This sponsored post has become our most viewed and engaging post on social media, with 1668 views to date.

4. Flyers

As opposed to eyesore flyers filled with gimmicks, Happy Five decided to go down a different path with our flyers disguised as a parking ‘saman’. Drivers around Taylor’s University were “fined” for being unoriginal, demotivated and uninspiring. The ‘saman’ rewards them with a complimentary drink when they visit the Sini Sana Seni exhibition, a place to be inspired with fresh new ideas.

5. Magazine Print Ad

These advertorials are focused on channeling readers towards All Is Amazing’s photography services. They are both featured in magazines such as The Peak and HWM Malaysia. Reason being, both magazines are categorised under different genres and have a different target audience. The Peak is a lifestyle magazine which focuses on business owners and high society readers. Whereas, HWM Malaysia focuses on tech geeks and professional photographers. This strategy allows All Is Amazing to target a bigger circle of people in a short time.

Jingle (60 Seconds)Sini Sana Seni

For the radio jingle, we came up with an idea to do an autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) based radio ad. We wanted audiences to be immersed into the environment and experience the radio ad tries to encapsulate. The ad revolves around a person using Waze to go to the Sini Sana Seni exhibition. We emulated the “Jane” voice of Waze using our very own talent Natalia, who gives directions to the driver (drive on LDP, turn into Taylor’s, walk towards Grand Hall, etc). But what made this ad unique was how we adapted local demeanours, lingos and references those in Taylor’s University and Klang Valley can understand. The dialogues “park behind block E to get clamped” and “enter the grand hall, you bodoh” are examples of those references. The radio jingle is 60 seconds long and we also made a 30 second cut out of it, which only contain the directional instructions provided by the Waze voice.
